Calculate your risk of ruin instantly — just move the sliders.
Enter three numbers: win rate, risk-to-reward ratio, and the share of capital you risk per trade. RuinRisk tells you the probability that your account runs out if you keep trading that way.
CALCULATE THE RISK OF RUIN (CALC)
- Three sliders, recalculated in real time
- See the exact Theoretical value and the fast Estimated approximation side by side. A large gap means the approximation is less reliable for those inputs
- Toggle compounding, and set the equity level you treat as ruin
- A probability that is small but not zero is shown as under 1% or under 0.1% instead of rounding down to 0, so risk is never understated

A GUIDE FOR NEW USERS
The first time you open the app in Legacy mode, a short walkthrough covers calculating with the sliders, zooming the heatmap, and choosing which parameter to hold fixed. Existing users will see it once as well. You can reopen the guide at any time from the button at the top right of the CALC screen in Legacy mode.
CONSISTENT INPUT STEPS
Win rate, risk-to-reward ratio and capital risk now all move in 0.1 steps and display to one decimal place, so the value you see is exactly the value being calculated.
CLEARER SMALL PROBABILITIES
A probability that is not actually zero, but rounds down to zero, is now shown as under 1% or under 0.1% throughout the app. This keeps a small risk from looking like no risk at all.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
The heatmap now renders faster. Plus minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
