SafeArrival is a personal safety app that allows you to notify your selected contacts as you arrive at and depart from locations you select. Unlike the Apple Find Friends App, contacts do not need this app to receive your notification messages which are sent to their email address. In addition, we do not collect any information about your contacts or GPS location – all that information is kept within your iPhone apps. No one needs to monitor your location to receive the notification email messages. You select locations by address or by your current location, give them a location name your contacts will understand and set whether to notify your contacts when you arrive at the location, depart from the location or both. Any time you arrive at or depart from one of your selected locations an email is sent to your selected contacts informing them of the arrival or departure. For example, if you have locations "Home" and "School", an email would be sent saying when you left home and another one when you arrived at school and vice versa upon leaving school and returning to home. This provides an excellent method by which children can notify their parents when they arrive home from school each day or business travelers can notify someone they have arrived at their destination automatically. If a location is no longer of interest, monitoring can either be temporarily disabled or deleted completely.   SafeArrival requires that the user have a gmail account. Safe Arrival will use the users gmail account to send email notifications to selected contacts on the users behalf. The user will be required to login to their gmail account when the App is used for the first time to authorize Safe Arrival to use their gmail account to send emails. If the user does not have a gmail account one can be set up at the gmail login screen.
