[Analysis App of the Sailors, by the Sailors, for the Sailors]
Taking advantage of my experience as a sailing athlete and coach, I have created an app that can be used to improve sailing skills.
I hope this app will help improve the quality of practice.
[How to use]
- Record the wake using the GPS sensor of your smartphone. Bring your smartphone to the ship and take measurements.
- The app will automatically analyze the measured wake.
- Check the analyzed results, improve tunings, and use it for the next practice!
[Main functions]
- GPS measurement function
- Analysis function (time, distance, speed, number of tacks, number of jibes, sailing angle against the wind, calculation of VMG)
- Measurement data display function (leg, map display, graph display)
- Measurement data editing function (wind information, boat information, manual correction, division of measurement data)
- Recording of boat information (boat information, tuning information)
- Comparison function with past records

-Since this application operates with GPS, the accuracy may deteriorate depending on the surrounding radio wave conditions and the performance of the terminal.
- Estimated wind direction is automatically input. If necessary, correct the wind direction manually.
- Measurement data is saved in the database in the smartphone. Please note that data cannot be taken over when changing smartphones.
- Do not operate this app while sailing because it is dangerous.
- The app developer is not responsible for any disadvantages such as accidents or injuries while using this app. Please be sure to use this at your own risk.
