Description

StarShot makes learning about letters fun! Sort consonants and vowels while launching Sammy to the stars! Help Sammy the Starfish escape a polluted ocean by bouncing off bubbles filled with letters. Tilt your device side to side to help Sammy pop bubbles to reach outer space. Each consonant gives Sammy a boost while the vowels slow him down. Hear the corresponding letter sound for each bubble popped. Give Sammy awesome upgrades such as agility and bottle rockets to help him reach the stars! Gain achievements to unlock special items! StarShot focuses on the following Common Core Curriculum Standards: • RF.K.3a Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant. • RF.K.3b Associate the long and short sounds with the common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels.
