Description

This app shows you the position of satellites. If you are installing or adjusting a satellite dish it shows the direction to point it for your chosen satellite. The satellite position is shown as a red dot over the camera image so you can also check if there are obstructions between you and the satellite.

Close to perfect

Used this to find which tree was blocking my dish. Worked great overall, but could use at least one improvement: It would just blank out if the elevation angle of the satellite was too great (this could be an iphone limitation?)

Make sure you enable "Settings/privacy/location services/system services/compass calibration" otherwise will not work. I liked sat finder lite better

Einfache und unkomplizierte Möglichkeit um die theoretische Empfangbarkeit eines bestimmten Satelliten zu prüfen. Okay, die Markierung "schwimmt" ein wenig wenn sich das Handy bewegt, aber hier geht es ja auch erstmal nur um eine Schnellprüfung und dafür ist dieses Programm durchaus geeignet. Außerdem gilt es zu berücksichtigen, dass es kostenlos zur Verfügung steht.
