Are you bored with practising your scales? ScaleBlitzer will fix that! For beginner through to advanced musicians on various instruments (see below), ScaleBlitzer makes technical work fun and interesting (instead of boring and tedious)! Simply enter the scales/arpeggios your teacher sets you for the week, and ScaleBlitzer will ask you to play them in such fun and interesting ways that you won’t want to stop! The self-rating system encourages listening and critical thinking, rather than just playing through. ScaleBlitzer will keep track of your ratings and test you more on the scales you’re having trouble with. You can also make recordings of your best playing and PROVE to your teacher that you got it right at home! Your teacher will be super impressed with your progress and you can compare your points tally with your friends at www.scaleblitzer.com N.B. You will need an internet connection for initial set-up and some functionality, but this app can be used offline. ScaleBlitzer is currently available for the following instruments/levels: Piano – Stage 1 (elementary/Grade 1) through to Stage 5 (advanced/Grade 8+) Flute – Stage 1 (elementary) through to Stage 3 (intermediate/Grade 5) Clarinet – Stage 1 (elementary) through to Stage 3 (intermediate/Grade 5) Saxophone – Stage 1 (elementary) through to Stage 3 (intermediate/Grade 5) Trumpet – Stage 1 (elementary) and Stage 2 (early intermediate) Violin - Stage 1 (elementary) Viola - Stage 1 (elementary) Cello - Stage 1 (elementary) Coming soon: Violin Stage 2, Flute Stage 4 IMPORTANT! If you play more than one instrument, you can purchase additional instrument packs for your user account. You can then switch between your packs depending on which instrument you’re practicing. Your statistics will remain separate for each instrument, but your overall points will accumulate for all instruments under your username. Wont allow me to access on multiple devices

I downloaded & set up my settings on my iPhone. Now it wont allow me to login or use my in-app purchases on my iPad. Not impressed. Please fix. Until I can use it on both devices, its not worth it. Too bad, it looks promising.

Im a musician and music teacher. This misleading little app contains no scales. It simply tells students what scale to play without showing them the scale. It uses silly cartoons in an attempt to motivate students. Then they try to sell you modules for each instrument at each level. Do not waste your time or money on this one.

I have only used this app a week, but my students are having lots of fun with it. My plan is to have them all download it so their stats will show up on their Leaderboard. I highly recommend it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that right now, its intended use is for the iPhone. BUT you can still put it on your iPad. Its a tiny bit inconvenient to download the extra instrument packs from your iPad, but it can be done by going thru iPhone apps. Samantha helped me with that. Try it! Youre sure to like it. Frustrated!

I purchased the second level and cant figure out how to download it onto my device and can find no help on how to do it. Apple says I purchased it, but I cant find it.

Worthless unless youre a First day beginner. Cannot even enter all my scales especially any containing flats or sharps in the note names. Ill use it for fun techniques like "play forte using this rhythm" other than that its a waste of $2. Expensive app for such low quality!!
