The Silicon Engines Wisplet is an IoT cloud connectivity board that can be integrated into your hardware project. The evaluation kit may be ordered from Silicon Engines, and comes with one Wisplet board plus one sensor board, which represents the hardware device you would be integrating the Wisplet with. The sensor board includes several common sensors: temperature, humidity, visible light, infrared light, and a voltage potentiometer. However, if you do not have an actual Silicon Engines evaluation kit, you can use this iOS app to simulate the Wisplet+sensor board combination, to send alerts in to the Wisplet server, which can notify users when an alert condition occurs.
