Description
SE Controller is a companion app to our Symphonix Evolution application and assumes that you already have the Symphonix Evolution app installed. It allows you to use your iPhone or iPod Touch as a pitch bend and modulation control, as well as adding a sustain function.
SE Controller connects to Symphonix Evolution version 1.85 or later using the "Remote Device Connection" feature built into the app. This uses Bluetooth peer-to-peer sharing to create a connection with low latency. Once connected, the controller events can be recorded in Symphonix Evolution just like using the inbuilt virtual synth keyboard.
SE Controller also supports Core MIDI, so it can be used stand-alone with the appropriate hardware interface if you have a device that can connect to the iPhone or iPod Touch.
