Description

SEAiq is a full-featured marine navigation app. It is the only marine navigation app that allows you to load your own charts in a variety of standard formats, including: S-57, S-63, iENC, BSB, and KAP. It also includes the ability to automatically download charts from NOAA for the USA and download of raster charts based on satellite imagery. Other features include: * Waypoints * Routes * Tracks * Night color modes * Anchor alarm * Automatic download and display of weather (wind & isobar) * Chart measuring tools (EBL/VRM) * WiFi-based NMEA and AIS No purchase is required to use SEAiq to view charts. All features are enabled during a 7-day evaluation period. After that, many of the features require purchase of an in-app upgrade. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ich nutze die App inklusive Erweiterung nun schon seit mehreren Monaten und ich bin mit dem Funktionsumfang sehr zufrieden. Anfänglich ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig bei der Bedienung ( z.B. Doppelklicken->tool-menü öffnen->Peilungslinie einfügen), das geht bei anderen Programmen intuitiver. Doch inzwischen möchte ich dieses Navigationsprogramm nicht mehr missen. Ich arbeite mit Karten von Chartworld. Einfach klasse Service und gar nicht so teuer.

Useless now since update removed use of CM93 charts

I purchased this app more than a year ago and it was working fine with my CM93 charts, but since last update they have removed the reason why I had bought this app and it is now perfectly useless without my charts... Once again we get screwed by updates and a waste of my money

This app works just as well as the $4k plotter I have on the boat. Very user friendly for the not-so tech savvy person. Access to the free NOAA charts is a plus for fisherman and it notifies you of chart updates. I also like having it on my iPad for planning fishing trips away from the boat with other captains.

Après plus 20 000 milles, définitivement adoptée, lecture des cartes ENC, un super module AIS, plein de trucs, il ne me manque plus que quelques fonctions le VMG par exemple pour être à 200% satisfait.

Affichage laborieux sur iPad 3 et ergonomie pas très sexy, mais la plus complète et la plus professionnelle des apps de navigation. Le support des cartes ENC s-57/s-63 est unique à ce jour.

La derniere version ne supporte plus les cartes CM93

Faire attention davoir la possibilité de revenir à la version précédente (itunes etc) sinon vous naurez plus les cartes CM93 qui était un grand avantage de cette appli

I am loosing interest for this app which dropped the use of Cmap and add more and more in-app purchases. A good navigation machine for sailors which is turning itself into a super cash machine for the developers. They lost me.
