Description
This App calculates the Notch Factors and the Total Stress on the Radius of a two Diameter Shaft with or without internal Hole.
You can use or Metric Units, Imperial Units or you can Combine them.
Inputs:
Dmax => Major Diameter of the Bigger Shaft
Dext => External Diameter of the Smaller Shaft
Dint => Internal Diameter of the Smaller Shaft (when present)
Radius => Radius between the two Shafts
Bending => Bending Moments acting on the Shaft Radius
Torsion => Torsional Moment acting on the Shaft
Traction => Axial Force acting on the Shaft
Output:
Kben => Notch Factor for Bending Stress
Ktors => Notch Factor for Torsional Stress
Ktract => Notch Factor for Axial Force
Rad.Stress => Total Stress on Radius
