Shays Angry Day is a kids book and game for iPhone and iPad which teaches young kids about controlling their temper. You follow the main character (Shay) throughout a normal day. During each activity, (school, shopping, etc.) he experiences frustrating situations children deal with on a regular basis. The reader is then able to tap the screen while Shay is getting angry. If they tap the screen quick enough Shay calms down. If they cant tap the screen quick enough Shay loses his temper. At the end of the book Shay is rewarded by how many times throughout the day he was able to stay calm in the face of a frustrating situation. The idea behind the book is that kids learn best with entertainment and repetition. With this in mind we created a book which kids will want to read over and over. While being entertained, our hope is that they will take away the message of the book.
