ShoutOut! is a scrolling text banner for your iPhone or iPod Touch. The concept is simple but the possibilities are endless. - Communicate with someone out of earshot. - Send a message without being heard by others. - Broadcast a message to a group. Some examples: - To someone in the car next to you ("You have a flat.") - To someone across a crowded room - To someone on stage ("Freebird!") - To fellow students in class Control the appearance of the message: - Text - Text and background colors - Font - Size - Speed - Repeat delay Let your voice be seen!

What a great idea. Im going to have a blast with this. Works smoothly too and can be seen from quite a ways.

This is a simple app, easy to use and I look forward to telling dumb people driving around without lights on Im there car to turn them on, LOL. A great update idea would be to a list of commonly used phrases. Other then that, great idea!

Much better than banner in my opinion. The text is much more readable from a distance. Font, text size, and color options are very nice. The only small annoyance is that caps lock is always on when entering text. You have to tap shift to get a single lower case letter.

...but better than the other two major ones which I also own. Positive: Allows total cutomization of fonts, colors and speed. Biggest Plus: the max scrolling speed is much faster than any of the other text scrolling applications - those max out way too early/slow. Suggested improvements: dot matrix font, ability to save several phrases for quick recall, and scrolling pictures. Ill change it to Five Stars once the first two are introduced!

Easy to use, lots of fun applications

Lots of fun uses. Perfect price point. I agree that it would be useful to store some frequently-used phrases (maybe the last five, and a few stock ones as suggestions?). Also consider a mirror function, for putting on your car dashboard so the person in front of you can read it correctly in their rear-view mirror, though thats pushing the visibility of the screen. Nicely done!

None of the settings worked properly and the banner looked the same no matter what settings you changed.
