Its a game of chance, thought to have originated in England or perhaps Northern France. Wooden versions have been played for many years in pubs around the world. All the fun with no commitment. Thats a good thing.

There are times (sitting in a plane, waiting in line, etc.) where I want to keep my mind occupied and entertained without commiting myself to some long game. Shutout is perfect for this. Each round takes a minute or two, so you can play as little or as much as you like. The luck factor keeps it interesting.

The best "shut the box" App in the store!

There have been a few "shut the box" Apps, but this is the first to really get it right. The one die rule, multiple players & AI! I have just one very minor request, could we give names to the AI players?

I love this game, I first played a physical version of it called "shut the box" by blue orange toys and had so much fun playing it with my 2nd grade daughter because its great for math skills (but its fun for adults alone, as well--really!). Its amazing to have it "on the go" wherever we go... The onscreen graphics are beautiful, and the game is just as fun! Definitely a good addition to your app collection.

This is a good shut the box and works nice on my iPad. I am new to this type of game and I like it better than farkel.
