Simple Checklist solves a basic problem of everyday life and that is: Your busy and all you want to do is record a task that you need to and then forget it until you have time. Unlike other Task list type Apps it just needs a title for the task and nothing else right now - it does not want you to input all sorts of information that you havent got the time to do (Priority, assigned to, etc). Just type the title and have it entered into the list. You can sort it out later. To enter a task just type its title in the field at the top and press Add - there its added. Nothing else has to be done right now. Its really easy to add in quite a few tasks in just a short space of time. Simple Checklist is just a quick and simple way of recording all those tasks that you know you have to do but cannot do right now. It allows you to build up priority based lists of tasks. You can enter a new task to be done by selecting the text field at the top and typing a title for it and then selecting the Add next to the field. It is as simple as that. When you have more time you can view the task to amend the details for it. Each task has a priority, a notes field (which automatically records the time and date the task was created), and who it is delegated to. None of this information has to be entered but it is there if you want it. At its simplest all tasks are to be done by You and that is the default. But a busy person has to delegate and this App allows you to do that by keeping it in the list but showing that you have delegated the task to someone else. You can set a default priority (in the preferences) for new tasks so that all new tasks entered are assigned that priority and are allocated to one of three lists: High Priority Tasks, Medium Priority Tasks or Low Priority Tasks. You can have as many people allocated as delegates as you want. On the Task details page just select the Delegated To button and the delegates page is shown. Add that person to the list and then select them in the table and select the Select button and the task is marked as delegated to them.
