SimpliBudget at Mac App Store analyse

Jadore cette app qui me permet de garder une trace de mes dépenses sur tous mes appareils. Elle ne coûte pas trop cher par rapport à dautres et fonctionne parfaitement. Ça ma permis de constater que je dépensais beaucoup pour la pomme, je vais me calmer ;)

app ist ganz nett. man kann (fast) alles eintragen. ich kann wiederholende rechnungen eintragen und regelmäßiges einkommen. was ich NICHT eintragen kann, ist wenn ich z.B. zum geburtstag geld geschenkt bekomme oder so. also ein einmaliges einkommen. das könnte ich nur unter "monthly income" eintragen - was wiederrum ja nicht stimmen würde. ansonsten ist die handhabung ganz ok - geht aber noch besser

I love it!! Its very simple to use, perfect to keep track of your budget. You first establish your monthly budget, then enter the categories you want and then you enter your spendings and it calculates everything. Very simple, exactly what I wanted. For a dollar, its really worth it!!

This is exactly the kind of budget software I want to use to track basic expenses. Nothing convoluted, just basic "buckets". Granted, a spreadsheet can probably do similar tracking, but I enjoy using this and I like the iCloud integration (havent tested it yet however…). The one thing Id like to see is to be able to view pie charts of spending to get a visual of expenses each month. Basically the input/tracking is great Id just like to be able to see a little more "analysis" based on the numbers.

While I appreciate its simplicity, it has some serious flaws. There is no full screen option. Saving can be complicated as dates and items tend to jump around and you can be inadvertently saving to different months and years. I have a tendency to bank my receipts and put them in ad hoc. This proves tricky as it is not very intuitive and doesnt let you easily jump around between dates. You cant adjust the size of the font. There is no option for banking descriptions you use over and over. I tried this as an option to pen and paper accounting, but it is not proving to be easier or saving me time. The idea is good, but it has a long way to go to be a truly simple and seamless way of keeping track of your daily expenditures.

I wanted an App that allowed me track my expenses comparing what I spend to my budget, and this App does exactly that! The first thing you do is set up your monthly budget, and once that is done, you just enter your expenses. It is very simple, and even gives you a graph to look at your monthly spending so you can compare months, and see your spending habits. One thing I would like to see would be an option to re-arrange the order of your expenses, because I entered the list for my monthly budget not in the order that I want, and in order to change that it seems I have to delete everything above it to move it into the spot I wanted. But since that is my only complaint, I rate this App 5 stars. For $1.99 you honestly cant go wrong (if you are looking for a basic App to track your expenses)

I purchased simplibudget because it received good reviews on blogs and it looked like it had all the features I wanted at a good price. Much to my dismay, after purchasing it, i found that it would actually not import qfx/ofx files provided by my bank, and so I sent support an email regarding the matter. In less than an hour, I received an email from Stephen, the developer, personally attending to my bug. I was able to send him a copy of my file, he found the issue, fixed it, and sent me an updated copy of the app, and now it works. Now THATs customer service. Im glad I purchased simplibudget just for that reason alone. It helps that it also does everything I need as a basic budget management/tracking application, with a simple interface and no-nonsense design. It took me a bit of messing around to get used to the category budgeting system and how it works with the transactions, but once it clicked it actually makes perfect sense, and I really like it. It makes it so that I have to think in terms of a budget, rather than just simple expense tracking, and thats great, but it also does expense tracking well. I like the app, well worth the price.
