Sinhala Social provides a carefully designed native Sinhala keyboard for the user to type a message and share on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, send an SMS or an Email.
Even though there are so many applications readily available in the App Store to post on social networks using Sinhala, they require the words to be typed in Singlish (transliteration). This results in you having to remember the correct combinations to get the required characters and also takes away the control and freedom from you. Further, some applications require an internet connection for you to translate the Singlish to Sinhala.
Sinhala Social is very easy to use. This application has been designed with you in the mind. "Is it intuitive for you to use? Will this allow you to perform your tasks faster? Is the Sinhala keyboard easy to use?"…. These were some of the questions addressed when designing the app. You do not need to remember character sequences, you are prone to make less mistakes because you are not guessing. All you have to do is start typing away!
The thought process behind Sinhala social was simple. An application which allows you to type what you want in Sinhala with minimal effort and share in an easy manner. Sinhala Social boasts of a unique keyboard layout (One and Only in the Mobile Space!) which is designed for optimal user experience. The keyboard was designed after careful analysis and the key challenge faced was to present more than 1000 characters within a small space.
