Le logiciel exige de déposer un fichier sur la racine du site afin de prouver qu’on est le propriétaire du site. Or ceci n’est pas forcement faisable pour tout le monde à l’égard de la configuration du site. Et de toute facon à quoi bon exiger cela ???

Description
After a crawl is complete an XML Sitemap can be generated along with error reports listing broken links (including where to find them), missing media files and a list of pages that have changed since the last crawl.
Crawl data is saved for you so you can browse your last crawl results without having to re-crawl the site every time you open the program.
* Before Sitemap can crawl a site you must verify ownership of the site by uploading a file that will be generated by Sitemap when you add the new site.

Pay attention to the description, this is worthelss under many conditions...
YOU MUST UPLOAD A FILE TO ANY SITE YOU WILL CRAWL! Pay attention to the description, this is worthelss under many conditions and only the one sentence above will attempt to describe this. This is not on their website and I don’t recall it from my original review and decison to buy. Wanted to review our corporate site, but uploading this extra file will make this a pain to use. Website says "After entering a web address, Sitemap Plus begins crawling the site to create a list of accessible pages, links and media files. Pages, links and content with accessibility issues are displayed in red and error reports can be exported for distribution to content and development teams.” There is no mention of the file needing to be put on each website as now is mentioned above. After reading the website, I clicked for the App Store, saw no reviews and decided to take a chance. My mistake. Sadly, the software never mentions that this is what is causing the problem. When I clicked “Crawl Site” it prompted me to "Create a file named: joqu9HrBttlmMBJ38W2mKh8M9YTm8C.html in your home directory before starting your crawl.” and took me to my home directory. Never does it say I will need to uplaod that file. Only reference I found so far is the sentence above that I think was added here after my purchase. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why it never started the crawls. It give no description of why it won’t work. It only sits there after creating a file in your home directory. I assumed this was a work around for Apple’s Sandboxing. Nope, just stupid software with a stupid feature that isn’t explained. Buyer beware!!!!! Fix this and I’ll be able to give an actual review. Right now, i just lost my money. How in the world did Applespeople manage to test this? Certinaly not on the Apple site.
Slow but does the job
Uploading a file to signify ownership of the site you want to crawl is not a problem if you build websites. Just a matter of FTPing a file that this app provides. About the same thing Google requires if you want to use Google’s webmaster tools with a site. It’s obviously an issue if you want to crawl a website you don’t have access to. If that’s your case, don’t buy this app. The app seems to do a pretty good job of crawling a website although it takes awhile with any significant number of pages. I crawled a site with an osCommerce store as well as a WordPress blog and it found everything. The site map, however included a lot of extraneous links like ‘buy now’ for each item in the store. It didn’t take long to clean up the sitemap.xml file after it was generated. I haven’t experimented with the filter system, but there may be a way to create a better sitemap from within the app.
App doesn’t work
Before you can crawl a site, you need to upload a file. Did that. But it keeps asking me to uplocad the same file and never crawls the site. Worthless.
