Did you know that on April 8, 2024 there will be a total eclipse of the sun that can be viewed in the US for the first time since 2017? If not, then Sky Event Finder is for you. It will inform you of all the best celestial events for viewing and photographing from now until 2024, including solar and lunar eclipses, planet oppositions, conjunctions/occultations solar transits, and meteor showers with notes on the moon phase at peak time so you can decide if waiting up all night will be worth it. Simple to use and updated every year with an additional years events.

If you like to watch the skies this app is perfect. It provides a "heads up" for celestial events so you know when to keep your head up!

Very easy to use. Good info. Useful to know when its time to break out the telescope or stay up late for a meteor shower.

Needs some work

Does not display right on my IPad Mini. When I select a year, the months of April, August, and December are off the screen, and I cant scroll over to them. Also, the display only works in portrait mode, not landscape. Disappointing for an app that I had to pay for.
