All reviews →So far 5 Stars and holding. I am installing one sensor after the next without any problems as long as I read the directions first! All sensors seem to be nice and sensitive enough to trap an intruder quite well. Your hard work to produce a quality product is appreciated. Would be nice to have a Windows version of the app.
I tried creating an account this past weekend. After setting my password and clicking the verification link in my email - all the app would return was either "access denied" or "could not connect". The whole reason to get a DIY home security system is to not tie yourself to an external service - especially one whose servers can go down for over 24 hours at a time (which effectively disables your home security).
Needs a different notification sound
So far app works great.Love all the customization of sensors. However would like more of an alarm or a distinctive sound for notifications
App doesnt work.
Good product as long as app is working properly. Touched the App and it shows logo screen but wont go further. Installed app again its same. Without proper app running this system is a crap.
I really like the app and the alarm system. I do not like the fact that you have to check event log to see if someone else has arm the alarm and if you were the one armed it, you have to arm it and then unarm it just to get it to unarm. But the event log shows if its armed or unarmed properly so it needs to be able to refresh. Im using iPhone 6 on AT&T and it works great. I wish you could add timed arming and automatic video recording. Thank you!!!
little bugs
overall easy App to use. really like all the options for all the sensors, wich all the sensors can have there own setup on how to respond to an activation and how you can receive notification. Notification usually get to your phone within 2 seconds. The only down side so far is that i have the App on my phone and my wife as the app to. If one or the other Arm the system the other person dont see that the system is arm, unless of restarting the app... thats the biggest down side i have so far!!!
Brilliant hardware. Awful software
The software he simply just needs an update. It freezes on two brand-new iPhones, one iPad, and one iPod touch. The whole software side of things is very simple and easy to set up, but it constantly crashes on all of our platforms. The most annoying part, is the fact when I come home the alarm is rarely set even when I watched the timer do its countdown. The software never fully sends the information. So then I come back, it says its off but then the alarm goes when I open the door. The worst part then is I try to arm and disarm the alarm with the app, and it simply continues to say that its off even though the alarm is going. The only fix I noticed is force closing the app 2 to 3 times before it actually recognizes. When they update the software to be more reliable, Im a firm believer this will be a five star application
