Description
Experiment with freezing a period of time into a single image. Each horizontal line represents a different moment in time. Take a picture of someone sitting in a chair while slowly spinning it around, and see the twisted result.
For best results, make sure your device is as still as possible. Holding it in your hand while the photo is being taken will not make for a good result. Rather you should prop your device against something or use a camera stand. Have your subject move slowly in front of the camera. Subjects that spin around or move slowly tend to make for the best pictures.
In a usual camera, the whole photo is taken nearly instantly. This app allows you to do slit-scan photography, where a delay is introduced between each consecutive horizontal line. Similar to stop motion photography, except the result is a single image instead of an animation of multiple frames.
• Save to photo roll, Facebook or Instagram
• Adjust how long is spent taking the image. Longer time = more time frozen in your image, but takes longer too.
• Adjust sharpness of the moving horizontal slit. Less sharp = less jaggy but more blurry result.
• Retina support
