This application is available to users who have been issued an account on [SmaLingual] from an organization which has signed a contract for [SmaLingual] (simultaneous multilingual interpretation service), a corporate service provided by IP Dream Inc. [SmaLingual] is a "simultaneous multilingual interpretation service" which uses "multilingual speech translation engine (AI technology)". This service does not require a specific device which means you can display translation results in 31 languages on your personal device (smartphone/tablet). With speech recognition and speech synthesis, you can have smooth conversations across language barriers. *How to use/Features (1) After logging in the application and tabbing "Start conversation", QR code wil be displayed. By simply scanning the QR code, other user even without SmaLigual account can join the same chat room on web browser. Users with SmaLingual application can also scan the QR code from the application and join the chat room. SmaLingual supports "One to One" and "One to Multiple" conversation. (2) Upon speaking into your device, the result of translation will be displayed on the other partys screen using speech recognition, machine translation and speech synthesis technology. The translated text will also be reproduced (read aloud) with speech synthesis. *Supported Languages (as of May 2019) Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean　※Plans to add more as needed. *Caution This service requires an internet connection. iPod touch is not compatible with this service.
