SMART is an app, just like any other app on your phone. Except that it’s more intelligent, encourages you to travel better, and rewards you when you get around sustainably, all of which makes you smarter about how you move. So, yeah, SMART is an app that’s way better than any other app on your phone. Whenever you move around sustainably- walk, bike, or take public transit -you earn points in SMART! You can use those points to get to the top of the Leader board! Or you can use those points to help a charity earn money. Or you can use those points to get discounts on products and services. Worried about logging your trips? SMART is designed to make it easy to be rewarded for the trips you take, because you never have to think about when you got on the bus and how long you rode it for or how faryou went. SMART automatically logs that for you, and gives you the points. Ta-da! We don’t use your trip data for advertising, we don’t sell any of your trip information to any commercial operators, and we are 100% ad-free. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
