Estimation application downloads and cost
Description
The Mac App Store version does flash the screen and play a sound, because its against the app store rules to secretly take photos in any app.
Its a very simple app. It will quietly take a photo every time your mac is woken up, and save it to a destination of your choosing.
It will also run in the background so you wont even know its there until you go to browse through your photos that have saved up over time.
If you enjoy looking at yourself, or looking at people that try to look at your stuff, then Snoop Catcher is for you.

Good but room for improvement
So I leave my speakers off most of the time, so the fact it makes shutter sound doesn’t bother me, however the other reviewers are right, this app should give you the option to turn off visual and audible feedback, to be truly stealthy. Set the “save to” directory to a cloud based storage folder (i.e. DropBox or Box), and you can even access the photos remotely when you aren’t near your Mac.
how can i delete
I deleted the app but it is till taking pictures what should i do
Won’t be catching anyone
When the picture of the intruder is taken, the screen flashes and a loud shutter sound is made. This is probably the least stealth way this app could have been designed. Very poor product.
good app, with reservations.
yes, it does make a sound, but it still catches them. that sound is the sound of the photo being taken, which means that the app has worked. still it would be nice to have an option to take sounds off
