Sonic the hedgehog

So far this game is really fun! But, I would say that after green hill zone, everything gets way more challenging and less loop dee looping and speed running the levels. Green hill zone I think is the only easy and less frustrating zone. After green hill zones the game actually requires you to stay on your toes more than you have to do on the first zone. And more concentration is put into the game. I would say I died a lot. But Im giving this a 4/5. :D

Impressive

Very nice, absolutely no slowdown in the time Ive played (which was finishing all characters 100%, all emeralds). Just as good as the original gameplay-wise, but the inclusion of Tails and Knuckles, along with time attack and other things puts it way above expectations. There is one issue during the end cutscenes as Knuckles where he gets caught in an endless death loop in Labyrinth Zone. It isnt game-breaking as it only blocks maybe the last 15 seconds, but a fix would be nice.

The controls

When they up dated the game they made the controls harder to use.

The way all remakes should be.

Wonderful remastering of a deserving classic. Sega, all of your classic games should be a similar loving treatment. Cant wait until Sonic 2, 3&K!

Best game ever

I love sonic so much and with this update it made things that much more enjoyable, but than again I always had fun playing sonic update or not. True fan here telling you good games like this dont exist any more. I cry because the joy of seeing sega bring this game to my iPhone, you need to bring back more games from the 90s sega library the original sega games. "SEGA!!!"

Classic Game Mediocre controls

A classic game by Sega ported for iOS. Unfortunately it falls victim to a factor most touch ports have an issue with; control. If the control scheme was updated to a classic d-pad style It might be possible to progress through the game

Dear SEGA

The water level is frickin hard
