Sonicity is an immersive sonic trip through the streets of Ottawa. Discover lush aural landscapes along the city’s bus routes created by some of the most talented local musicians. These original compositions reimagine our public transit as a rich soundtrack inspired by the vibrant and textured urban fabric of Ottawa’s neighbourhoods. Travelers will explore an expansive musical map to energize your commute or enhance your casual journey. Enjoy the ride!
- Swipe to select the bus route you plan to take.
- Select the direction by tapping the final station.
- If you have location services disabled, tap your approximate location along the route.
- Each composition covers the full length of a bus route.
- Sonicity will use your location to ease you into the corresponding part of the track.
- As the track unfolds, the route map will act as the play bar.
- After 10 minutes of travel, the full track unlocks for you to enjoy later.
