Description
This app allows people with reading challenges to have any piece of text read to them. They take a pic of the difficult page, label, menu etc. They can re-take it if it’s blurred or doesn’t include everything. When they have a clear pic they send it and it goes to our platform and is allocated to a trained reader. The reader sends a recording of themselves reading the text on the pic. When the recording arrives into the user’s phone, they can play it back as often as they wish. Alternatively, a user with vocabulary issues can connect via video to a reader for a live reading. After the first free usage there is a nominal fee. This covers running costs and reader compensation. Users’ anonymity and confidentiality are protected.
