Description
This app is part of a forthcoming project at Sage Gateshead, for the Great Exhibition of the North: a summer of amazing exhibits, inspired technology, vibrant street performance, cutting edge culture and magical experiences.
The app lets you record and upload materials that will form part of a new artwork.
We would like you to record any sounds from the north that you find interesting. Start by paying attention to the sounds you are hearing wherever you are... slow down and listen carefully. Try to be as silent and still as possible. Close your eyes. Focus on the texture of sounds and how they change. Listen for loud sounds, quiet sounds, sounds of machinery, people or nature.
