SoundSketch at Mac App Store analyse

SoundSketch is a casual music production tool. It was created for electronic musicians to use as a tool to discover new melodies, as well as a tool for non-musicians to make something that sounds cool. SoundSketch is a step sequencer that removes you from the actual music. Pick a part (lead, bass, drums), and a sound pack, and drag your finger over the pads. Almost anything you do will sound good. Then start activating or deactivating pads until you get something you like. SoundSketch lets you organize your patterns into 8 sequences, and you can flip between sequences at any time to combine patterns into new patterns. HINT: start with the lead. It always sounds good. Adding bass and drums requires a gentler touch, as you will need the rhythm section to work with the lead in order for things to sound right. SoundSketch currently comes with two sound packs: a bell, bass and old school electronic drum pack, and a minimal techno pack.
