Description
SoundTrips is a collaborative creative project aimed at building up a set of cool background noise experiences.
Each sound trip is created by mixing together a set of looping samples in a sort of mixer. There is also a page for each trip where you can write some ideas about what you have created.
The more time people listen to your sound trip the higher it rises in the list.
Why sound trip?
*pure escapism
*sooth a hangover
*sleep accompaniment
*drowning out the world of unwanted noise
*avoiding the creepyness of silence
*you know, were not going to say it
*so many situations call for a bit of sensory self deception
The IOS app allows you to go offline and play sound trips that you have stored.
*remove yourself from the din of airports and traveling
Night and day mode keeps the app synced with your light environment.
We have charged a little for this iPhone app to help pay for hosting and development, but you can view the project for free at www.soundtrips.net.
