Description

Speed of Sound allows you to speed up and slow down songs from your music library - without changing the pitch! The app also allows you to change the pitch of music, without changing the speed. The app is great for: o) Musicians practicing difficult pieces. o) Musicians trying to figure out how to play music (transcribing). o) Dancers during practice and rehearsal. o) Singers that want to sing along to music that is normally outside of their vocal range. Very simple and intuitive interface! NOTE: This app cannot play songs streamed from Apple Music as these are protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM). Speed of Sound can play any songs or music tracks that you have purchased from iTunes or imported as MP3 or other formats into iTunes.

Awesome idea for an app, the only problem is that the time slider doesnt work consistently. Others than that, its great for transcribing music.

I love this app. Hearing all my fav songs in different combinations of pitch and pace is awesome! Hate that the replay button is on by default, and that you cant exit the app while still listening. Other than that, perfect!

Please let us exit the app and play null tracks!
