Spelling Lift Off is the first in a series of spelling apps. Useful for kids from 10+ to Adults struggling with spelling, particularly helpful for individuals with dyslexia, and to those where English is their second language (ESOL) Spellings that sound the same, but are spelt differently. The English language is such a complex one, we have some words containing ir, er, and ur, all sounding the same. Words ending in cian, sion and tion all sound the same. And thats just the beginning! In Spelling Lift off, users have to work their way through some colorful, challenging exercises to help them understand and spell the words correctly. Drag and drop syllables, letters and words. Try your hand at word searches and answer questions to clues given. You can choose to have the words spoken aloud to you as you get them right. You have a running score that you can keep trying to improve.
