This app is meant for patients with syphilis or that have ever had syphilis. By keeping a record of your syphilis results you and your doctor get a better overview of the infection and the course of the treatment.
The diagnosis of syphilis and the checkups after treatments can be complicated. The disease knows several stadia and be diagnosed in different ways. When the checkups are with different care providers (at the primary care physician, the GGD or a specialist) your medical record may be incomplete and cause confusion. With this app you can now keep all your results in one secure private place: enter the results after each checkup together with your physician. This gives a better overview and prevents medical errors in your (after)care.
