How does it work? This times tables app gives different ways to practise tables. The 5 step times table learning method, the diplomas, the speed tests, and the 1 vs 1 challenge. With every exercise, you can earn stars. The stars are visible in the menu’s, so it is easy to track your progress. The 5-step times tables learning method is a structured way to learn the times tables. We start with the basics. First you must read the times table. Then you get easy exercises and at the end you have to do the final test for a diploma. For every table, you can get a diploma. You can get these direct via the diploma page or at step 5 of the 5-step plan. The ‘Get a diploma’ section gives 5 extra main diplomas, here you can show if you really master all your times tables. The main diplomas are: - the mini diploma (tables 1,2, 10) - the small diploma (tables 1,2,3,4,5, 10), - the difficult diploma (tables 6,7,8,9, 11, 12) - the big diploma (1 to 10) - the XL diploma (1 to 12). The speed tests are an excellent way for exercising. Here you get a mix of questions which you must answer within a time limit. You can choose two formats. The 1 minute test where you try to answer as many correct questions as possible and the speed test where you have 10 seconds per questions. These are the school favourites. At the 1 vs 1 section you have to play against someone else. It’s a quiz and you have to answer as fast as possible.
