Storia SSR is an interactive addition to the "Radio und Fernsehen in der Schweiz" ["Radio and Television in Switzerland"] book about the history of the Schweizerische Radio- und Fernsehgesellschaft, SRG, from 1983 to 2011. Opening up its history and its archives in this way marks a major progression for SRG SSR. The app enables users to read the 500-page book in full. They can also access the audiovisual source material directly by tapping in the text and via a media gallery. This allows readers to compare these sources with the statements made in the seven chapters of the book, and to explore the events it presents in greater depth through the evocative audio and visual archive materials of the time.
