Strong Marriages is a non profit christian based organization that helps churches restore and enrich marriages. This app is used as part of Strong Marriages and Strong Families marriage conferences to help each couple have a better understand of each others personality. Strong biblical emphasis: When we look at helping couples in their marriage, anything outside of God’s direction will leave us short of the ideal mark. Many mentoring and relationship resources today are more focused on teaching relationship “skills” than imparting God’s Word. We think those skills are helpful and we teach many of them throughout the process…be we also happen to believe these communication skills will always be more effective when combined with a biblical mindset. -Intentional Process: The mentoring process needs to be transferable. If not, the discipleship is done solely out of the gifting and charisma of the individual or couple mentoring. This will cause the mentee couple to say, “I’m not like my mentors, I could never do what they do,” and the generational growth that discipleship should produce stops because the mentee couple doesn’t feel equipped to transfer what they’ve learned to others. We like to say that mentoring is process-driven and relationally-transferred. -Mentor Support System (MSS): The MSS allows us to truly support churches and mentor couples for the long haul. Our desire has always been to partner with churches and mentors, not simply sell resources. Nobody is able to provide the support the way we can through the MSS. Ministry management tools, communication through online session reports, role play videos of mentoring sessions and many more resources make the MSS a priceless tool for church leadership and mentor couples.
