Description

One of my best apps; actually my best one yet. Easy to use: just put the compass edge next to the wall you want to find the nail on. After sliding around you see the numbers pass 100. When you hit a nail directly, the graph and numbers freeze at a high number, usually in the 400s. *High sensitivity *A teslameter measures magnetism. *Really works! *Has been tested with a real stud-finder and found perfect! Requires iOS 4.1 or later. -You must have a compass on the device. -Does NOT work with iPod touch or iPad. Alerts coming soon!

Awesome!

This app works very well. I held it flat against the wall, the screen facing me(obviously) and it would read anywhere from 40-70 and then spike when it found a screw or nail(stud) to 100-200. From there Id make minor adjustments until I got into the 300-500 range. Very accurate IF you realize that the sensor(on a 5s) is directly under the camera lens on the back of the iphone. So dont mark your studs directly in the middle of the phone, mark them about a 1/4 inch from the far right edge of the phone(5s anyway). Basically, if you use a little common sense, this works 100%. My only critique would be a slightly more detailed description of this process would be nice, as far as how to hold the phone, etc.

Just bought some art from the local art gallery and needed a way to hang it up!

iPhone 5s

Almost worked on iPhone 5s. The sensor the app is apparently using is located near the camera and is extremely localized...major calibrating is needed before the 5s will work with this.

What a joke::::::

Well u got me for a dollar. No calibration are. It just flashes in the 50s and doesnt work.

Installed a flatscreen

My husband put 5 holes in our wall while putting up our flat screen tv. I bet him $ I could find the stud... It wasnt my husband.

Hmmmm....

Works great if you have a nail or screw every couple inches. Works on metal only!!!! Will NOT find a stud on its own with metal!! Can I get my .99$ back please!!??

Doesnt work

Unless this is a joke app it does not work. No matter where i place my phone the numbers just rapidly dance between the 40s and 50s. Disappointing to say the least. Id like my buck back
