Tourism has been acknowledged by Scottish Government as being “Scotland’s most important industry" and we gather as an industry for Scottish Tourism Week 2017.
The ‘jewel in the STW crown’ is of course the STA Signature Conference which this year is titled ‘Tourism: The Future - Beyond 2020’, and will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Wednesday 15th March. As it says on the tin, the conference is all about looking ahead at everything in the political, economic, consumer and environmental worlds that will impact and affect Scotland’s global competitiveness and perception as a destination of choice.
