I had used the app for personal banking for mobile deposits on my phone. Since having to use the business app I can no longer deposit checks using my phone. That was about 95% of what I used the app for.
Sort of Useless Without Deposit Function
The one key feature that mobile could have offered is missing: no deposit function! Bad enough that check deposits on their ATMs don’t work half the time… a deposit function could have solved that.
Switch to Bank of America
BoA has amazing apps and even their web site works as expected on mobile devices, more than can be said of SunTrust and their typical antiquated technology. Cannot deposit checks. Cannot even VIEW check numbers of cleared items. Cannot see collected balance information on Trust accounts. Exactly what does this app do? Also, why is there such a platform difference between personal and business accounts? At BoA you can see all accounts together and they work seamlessly, as you would expect. All banks are pretty much the same these days, personal banker, branches, etc.. Technology is the differentiator. We will be moving the remainder of our accounts to BoA.
No business
Worst app Ever! You cant view canceled checks, cant make a copy of canceled checks . IF you get lucky enough to get to view a transaction you have to guess what the check number is . Suntrust , get your act together ! Cant take a pic and deposit ...just what is this app for ? I rate this a -10!
Unfortunate no mobile deposit
Without mobile deposit feature, no need for app.
Does not work since iOS 8
Hello. A very good app, easy to use. Unfortunately, it does not work at all with the new IOS8. Maybe an update could solve this problem. Im not able to login anymore, and I miss this app a lot! I will give u 5 stars when it will work as it used to until iOS8 was downloaded on my iPhone 6! Thxs

The Suntrust personal app is great, however this Business app is about 5 years behind. Really really terrible. I spoke w a Suntrust employee today and even they were talking bad about the app. Its not good when youre own employees shoot down their own product. Yikes
