SydWinds is from the stable of the popular applications MelbWinds PerthWinds and BrisWinds.
It is designed to provide up to the minute information about the wind in and around Sydney, Australia for sailors, windsurfers, fishermen, kitesurfers and anyone who is affected by wind.
SydWinds provides the following
1) Distance to the BoMs Points of Presence, so you can see which ones are more relevant to you.
2) Locations sequenced by distance away from you, OR strength of the wind
3) More detail on weather conditions at the location.
4) Wind arrows portrayed on a Map so you can see where the wind is
