L’application permet d’exporter et de sauvegarder toutes les photos et vidéos se trouvant dans une bibliothèque iPhoto ou Photos. Elle fonctionne parfaitement et répond à mon besoin, à savoir pouvoir créer une sauvegarde sur mon NAS de toutes mes photos et vidéos. J’ai fait appel au support en basculant de iPhoto à Photos car j’obtenais un message derreur, ce dernier a été très réactif et une mise à jour tenant compte de la structure de ma librairie Photos est sortie en moins de 3 jours sur le store Apple. Je conseille!

fusion des bibliothèques
j’ai voulu fusionner deux bibliothèques iPhoto avec cet outils. bilan: l’outil a effacé le fichier de destination et j’ai perdu toutes les photos qui s’y trouvaient. Heureusement, j’en avais une sauvegarde mais c’est complètement incompréhensible d’avoir une application qui efface tout sans même vous prévenir !
Doesn Synchronize
Doen’s synchronize at all, only copies a full library to a different location, so if you have 2 Libraries, this tool will only create 2 different files in the backup place, and if you select to just copy the pictures out of the library, then the tool will only duplicate all the files…completely unuseful!
Ottima ma funziona con Foto?
Per effettuare il backup della libreria di iPhoto l’ho trovata ottima e la consiglio a chi vuole tenere al sicuro la libreria su un secondo HD. Ora che Apple ha aggiornato l’app che prende il nome di “Foto” funzionerà ancora?
Surprsingly great!
Took a chance — glad I did. Was limping with the old Backup for MobileMe before this — hoping I would never have to try to use it. This is intuitive and easy and does a lot without the bells and whistles. My only wish: a little more feedback that anything is happening (the blue bar stays fixed for a long time wtih no hints…). Nice product and price.
Just what I needed, great software!
I like to go through yearly and drop my iPhoto libraries onto external drives for backup and in the past used an elaborate script to export files from iPhoto into a directory by year, month and file for access by non-Mac machines. Unfortunately that script no longer worked and rather than reworking it I decided to see what was available on the AppStore. To my delight I found this application and figured I’d give it a try. I am very pleased! There are so many ways this application allows you to build out the directory structure and file names that are output when using the ‘organize files’ option. In addition it has multiple ‘slots’ so I can have all my exports going on at the same time since I have multiple iPhoto libraries. If you organize your photos at all this is an excellent tool to add to your tool belt and well worth it.
