TabView makes it possible to view and print PowerTab and Guitar Pro tablatures with your Mac. PowerTab and Guitar Pro are well-known and widely adopted file formats for tablatures and thousands of transcriptions in these formats are available on the net. TabView is thus an essential tool for guitar players wishing to learn new songs as well for trainers. TabView can export tablatures in MIDI format for playback or use in other applications (for instance, GarageBand). While youre practicing a song, you can follow the playback on screen, loop over selected parts or slow the tempo down. Create beautiful prints of the tablature: you dont need to stay in front of your monitor to play along your favorite song. View both the standard notation and tablature, only the tablature or only the standard notation: whatever you prefer, its possible! NOTE: TabView is not an editor. Die 9,99€ ist diese App definitiv nicht wert, sie kann nur Anzeigen. Bin auf das kostenlose Tuxguitar umgestiegen, spielt und bearbeitet sogar gp Dateien.

I was hoping this would help play my large collection of guitar pro tabs, took the risk and found that this application wont open any of them. I cant even access the menus unless a tab is open, and find myself with an eleven dollar piece of crap app…...

This app works, you just have to use your head a little. Once you download it and open it, it gives you the option to open a file just like a word document. If you have downloaded power tab(s) you can select them from this menu. The app is very simple and beginner friendly. You can playback tabs, playback a selection of a tab, and read power tabs.

Not what expected

Thought this was a way for me to put music down in tab view. Instead I can only download music (which I cant find) into this application. The web sites recommended to do this are cumbersome and all I have been able to find is in text form and will not import into this app. Should have purchased Reflow instead. Dont know if I will have a use for this.
