Description
Learning synonyms is a great way to expand your English vocabulary. With an expanded vocabulary you will improve your speaking and writing skills and do much better on English language tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.
This app is a fun way to learn new ways to express how we and others might be feeling. It is suitable for both English as a Second Language learners as well as primary age children.
In this app you will be presented with a word or phrase associated with 9 different feelings:
• Afraid
• Angry
• Confused
• Happy
• Hurt
• Sad
• Sick
• Surprised
• Tired
There are 9 clickable images related to these different feelings. Click on the image that best represents the word or phrase you have been given.
You can do the quiz in sets of 10, 20 and 50. Use the app regularly for short periods to help you gain familiarity with the words and phrases. Once these terms become familiar make sure you use them in your everyday speaking and writing. In this way you can be sure you will get a ‘Big Tick’ for your English.
