Review

I live in France and the one gaping hole is no "round-the-grounds" coverage on Saturday match days, although this is probably due to coverage rights. If you listen for any length of time there is a lot of repetition of self-advertising during breaks. When youve heard Colin Murrays sporting recollections once ....... In general their line-up is excellent, with the sole exception of Murray who can best be described as a "hanger-on". Their coverage excels when they are forced to mix-up presenters - why they dont do this more baffles me. Overall its to be recommended but with a few costless tweaks, no more than 5 or 6, it could be untouchable. I too, live in France and feel as though I wrote the review above myself - maybe I did when drunk one night. The live coverage abroad gives you very little feel that the commentators are at the match. Mixing the broadcasters up is a great idea - eg Gough & Adrian together seem to labour, but split them up and they shine. Could not agree more regarding Murray - hes like the guy that every group of guys have. Pass him around a group of 10, preferably 20, and hes bearable - but to be stuck with him in a pub on your own - maybe Brazil should try it for his health !

Superb!

Talksport you are the best I live in France and boy did you save my armchair football fan career,I especially like Colin Murray.Though the whole station is five star, thank you. Would like to add or antagonise if you prefer mr no power but Colin Murray is talk sport the people who surround him each day make his show what it is but without him in the middle, the hub of u like there would b no show!!So sorry mate dont agree with you and Man U forever. "Keep on keeping on keep on keeping strong " to quote a Manchester band??? Cheers the G.

Whilst the idea is fantastic, the implementation is open to improvement. The app loads fine, but live radio takes an age to load and once loaded and playing is very unstable. Record length of uninterrupted radio is about 10 minutes. Often stutters and very often takes up to half an hour before any volume returns. A shame, because otherwise this would be my absolute top app at all. It may work ok on a WLAN, but all my issues are with Edge and 3G reception.

Best Radio
