The app can also give you trip estimates for both taxis and rideshare vehicles.
With the ChargeLess taximeter app you can run a taximeter during a live trip independently to make sure you are being charged honestly.
When checking the meter during a trip please be aware that the application consumes battery resources so when the meter is running it is more accurate if executed in the foreground for the duration of the trip. If possible have the phone connected to a charger.
Currently the app is exclusive on iOS and is a very accurate taximeter. The app will show you both the taximeter cost and what a rideshare would cost for any surge rate set.
