Description
The Telstra T-Box is a set-top box which plugs into a BigPond broadband internet connection and a television. It enables normal Free-to-Air TV and broadband TV to be delivered to the home television set.
Telstra has created an iPhone application which acts as a remote control for the T-Box. It is a free, fun, easy-to-use app that turns your iPhone into a remote control. So wherever you are in your house, you can control your T-Box.
Just like the T-Box remote control, the iPhone application can be used to change channels, control the volume, navigate menu items, etc. on your T-Box.
To use the application the iPhone will need to be on the same home network as the T-Box, the T-Box will need to be powered on and the iPhone application started. The application will then link with the T-Box and operates like the T-Box remote.
This product works through your home network. Telstra recommends always using a secure home network.
