Description
Turn text files into powerful flashcards.
TextFlash makes it easy to create and review flashcards using nothing more than plain text. Just write your cards in a simple format like
Capital of France = Paris
Capital of Germany = Berlin
Capital of Sweden = Stockholm
...and so on...
and you’ve got a working flashcard deck. Want to go faster? Use your favorite AI assistant to generate tens (or hundreds) of cards into text files using the same question = answer format, then import the file to TextFlash.
As you go through the cards, tap green if you knew the answer, yellow if it needs review, or red if you missed it. Your taps are saved directly in the file using simple asterisks, like
Capital of France = Paris*
Capital of Germany = Berlin***
so you can track your learning directly from the files too.
The app shows all the time your stats as you go through the cards: How many cards with each color, and what is the number of cards not yet studied.
Every deck is just a .txt file — easy to edit, version, and share however you like. You can import text files or copy and paste text, just as you prefer.
Filter cards by progress color or shuffle to test your recall. With a clean non-cluttered interface and no distractions, TextFlash helps you focus on learning — not on managing your flashcards.
