If you want an app that does everything, look elsewhere. Seriously. We believe that a tool should do one thing perfectly, not ten things tolerably or a hundred things badly. Typing a note to save for later is something your phone should be able to do instantly, easily, without drowning you in ads, cryptic screens, and unnecessary features. Textile has no user login, no cloud storage, no complicated formatting, no drawing, no half-baked checklists — the list goes on. It’s made for people who want to use their phone as a tool, not a distraction.
Typography.
Typefaces have a huge effect on how we think and feel about the written word, so Textile comes loaded with a carefully curated selection of elegant fonts to make your notes look the way they were meant to look, including sans-serif, serif, and monospaced fonts.
Quality.
That means Textile has exactly zero known bugs at time of launch. We take quality incredibly seriously, since we want Textile to be a tool you can rely on. Textile’s quality and its simplicity go hand in hand: a smaller feature set means we can make every feature rock solid.
