THE TICKER is a small, simple, cute Feed Reader with the I HATE EXCERPTS ™ feature and features unlimited feeds organized by label and rating that can be arranged by keyboard. It comes with a gorgeous preview, quick look and, of course, multiple sharing options. Everything is searchable and you can store/mark articles for later use. You can navigate by gestures, arrows, and keyboard the way you are already used to.

The Ticker vs. Mavericks

Seltsamerweise und zu meiner Überraschung ist das Programm nun zumindest brauchbar - bei der Übernahme der opml-Daten aus Feedly ist THE TICKER zwar ungefähr 30x abgestürzt, aber nachdem nun alles eingerichtet ist und vor allem das …I hate excerpts nicht aktiviert ist läuft das Ding nun zumindest in der Hauptansicht unter OS X 10.9.3. Fein. --------------------------------- Ich habe das Programm leider nicht stabil zum laufen bekommen, Preferences werden nach Programmneustart nicht übernommen, bei Import von OPML-Daten crasht The Ticker häufig, Das Programm stürzt zuverlässig spätestens nach 2min ab. Schade, Konzept hatte mir gut gefallen. (MB Air 2013/Mavericks)

crashing and now wont open…..

After loading a few RSS feeds that would load just fine in another host reader, this one now just started crashing and now refuses to open. tried everything to trouble shoot the problem. save your money this app is too buggy.

I’m sorry - but I have to disagree with the other reviewer. This is the most simple App out there. On start you get directly asked if you want to import your feeds and every time you click on a websites RSS link the feed will be automatically added. What’s complicated about that? The best thing about this app is that I don’t have to enable ‘readability’ for every single entry - all I had to do was to once enable this for the complete feed and that’s it. I love the gestures. I can use the App with just swiping.
