Description

Today and Not Today helps you quickly establish and then track your priorities. One of the biggest concerns with time and focus management is not being “gut honest” about what has to be done today and what can wait. Task lists are good. Today and Not Today is better. It cuts through the chaos like no other tool. 1. The first step to “gut honest” focus is to complete a brain dump. Get everything in your head that has to be done out in the light of day. 2. The next step is to use more brutal honesty and identify only those things that have to be done today or else (or else means you have to pay an undesirable consequence). Put those into your Today and Critical bucket. Identify which items are nice to do today but not critical and place those into Not Critical. Everything else goes in the Not Today bucket. Nothing is lost, everything is in a place. 3. Finally, prioritize the items in your Critical bucket in order of appropriate completion. You win the fight against time when your Today Critical bucket is empty. AND remember: • Everything you brain dumped is stored and ready for resorting when you are. • You win when your Critical bucket is empty. • If your day turns upside down at 10 a.m. go ahead and start over. Nice App!

Really like this app! Its simple but good. People that are task oriented sort this way everyday, but its nice to have an app to keep your thoughts organized.

Is there a way to get rid of the prompts

Overall the app is pretty nice, but I dont like having the prompts about how to organize my lists every time I open the app. Is there a way to go directly to the "to do" items I have already listed without it thinking I need to "brain dump" a new set of items? Other than that its pretty nice and simple.

With the update, this app really is the best "to-do" list app out there. Keeps things simple and in order of what to do first so you never forget to do anything!

Best Organizing App for the iPhone!

This is the best organizing App that I have found and I have tried a lot of them. My only suggestion would be to offer a HD true iPad version and to allow for sync between iPhone and iPad via iCloud.

This app is so simple and so powerful. It does just what it says it does and no more. Its so much fun to use that I look forward to planning every morning and am motivated in a way that I dont think Ive ever experienced before. AND, I actually refer to it regularly throughout the day, which means I really USE it. Ive had it for almost a week now and I feel that my productivity and focus have increased tremendously and easily. Im grateful to all the people who made this happen!!
