Description
PhoneBox is a tethered smartphone app and MI portal that enables Trak Globals corporate partners to trial smartphone-based telematics (by invitation only).
The technology platform that underpins PhoneBox is entirely configurable to suit the requirements of brokers, insurers or any other stakeholder in the Usage-Based Insurance value chain; similarly, it can also be configured to provide high-fidelity driver behaviour scoring and geo-location data for the purpose of fleet management.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. PhoneBox will run the GPS in the background while your phone is paired to a Bluetooth device.
